2011 528i N52
anyone know about the north american RWD naturally aspirated n52 528i option for 2011? anyone have one? while its not the best match for such a heavy car, i am enjoying my naturally aspirated response and reliability quite a lot.

I used to own N52 in E60 which was much better match vs. F10. I had tons of issues wiht E60 from oil leaks everywhere to water pump failures. So far N55 in my F10 is more reliable, but not nearly as linear as N52.

n52
really? how many km/miles did you have on your N52? i have 109,000KM on my n52 currently and it has been bullet-proof so far. I have considered that an E60 with an n52 would be more ideal after buying the F10. However, the extra 20 ft/lb of torque (221 vs 200) and the 8 speed with the small ratios really helps take advantage of the low end torque. this heavy boat can really get out of its own way. Ive never driven an n55, only an n54 with a 6 speed manual and i loved it, but its not as linear as the n52 you are right about that.
