M5 Exhaust Options fit a 2013 550i?

Hello everyone! Newbie to the forum. Appreciate any help in advance.

So, I bought a 2013 550i a few months ago. There are virtually zero aftermarket exhaust options for this car. Tons of options for the M5. Will the M5 aftermarket exhausts fit my 550i?

Welcome. I previously had M5 mufflers on my 535i for the most part, the exhaust if for an M5 will fit on a 535i or 550i. Then I went ahead and removed the mufflers completely.

Not sure about virtually zero but there's quite a few exhaust systems for your 550 if you don't mind spending some coin

Meisterschaft's from a 550 installed on my 535

But regarding M5 mufflers on a 550...you can make it work with a few adjustments. Here's a post made already if you use the search function. Being that you're a Noob this search function will help you answer alot of your questions

My experience with the M5 muffler option. They are perfect. Fantastic growl, no drone and no look at me noise. For fun I go back and forth between securing the flaps open for a nice deep tone. Paid 500 for the mufflers and 200 for a very nice installation. Thumbs up from me.

Thanks for the reply everyone. I love the Meisterschaft's setup... The only thing keeping me from ordering the mufflers, x-pipe, and downpipes, is that everything I read, says that if I go catless downpipes, i'll get a CEL that I can't get rid of. I'm in Pennsylvania and have emissions/inspection. I currently have a burger tuner on it. Local speed shop says that the 2013's won't accept an ECU/ECM flash tune like some others will so I can't "turn off" the CEL. Any additional thoughts? Thanks again. MUCH appreciated!

I realize this thread is waaay old, but I've been off-grid for quite a while and just want to contribute - the M5 exhaust is a damn-near perfect fit out of the box on the 550i. I have a non-comp M5 exhaust system on my 550i. It's all M5 from the end of the downpipes to the exhaust tips. I have the M5 diffuser (my 550i already had M-sport pkg). Replaced the stock M5 resonators with straight pipe (which is what I've seen is the M5 comp exhaust setup - straight-through resonators), welded in a full-diameter x-pipe in place of the OEM x-pipe that is a little pinched. The only other modifications required were welding on hangers to mate to the stock 550i hanger locations near the differential, and shortening the rear cross-member that connects the two sides together just past the differential. The M5 exhaust eliminated the turbo lag I had, and with the Valvetronic Designs exhaust flap controller it has transformed the car.

Yeah, its not the M5 sport mufflers, but from other posts its reported that the M5 exhaust on a 550i sounds better than on an M5. I haven't heard a non-Comp F10 M5 but I know it sounds damn good on the 550 even without the comp mufflers.
