Intermittent lagging
Hi my name's Darryl from Ireland,, I've got a 5series f10 2010 with a lagging issue for some time, I've had this lagg when I'm changing into a higher gear, she revs no big ther but then a slight pull back then it releases again.only code I'm getting is a for a fuel heater which my mechanic said it wouldn't cause my issue. Would any one have any thoughts on this and feel free to ask any questions much appreciate it

I would try the throttle adaptation first. It's unlikely but it's a simple process. I had the lagging during low gears and the adaptation resolved the problem. As for the procedure, ignition on only then press the gas pedal all the way for 30 seconds, turn off the ignition with the foot stay pressed. Let it go then wait for two minutes then start the engine. Hope this helps.
