Any feedback on Stoptech Sportstop Drilled Rotors

My 2011 535 M Sport will need rear brakes soon and I am looking into replacing all four corners with cross drilled rotors. I know a few guys have rotors from R1 Concepts, but have not come across anyone with the Stoptech Sportstop rotors. They seem to make a "regular' version, as well as cryogenically treated rotors for an additional $15 each. Anyone running these and can provide any comments? Looking at mating these with Akebono Euro Ceramic brake pads. Here is a link to them on TireRack.

We have installed MANY of these on F10s with no complaints at all. Let me know if you need any help with them. We are a StopTech distributor.

Great, can you shoot me a PM with your pricing? Looking for front and rear and you can include any shipping costs to 11581. Also I am unsure how to tell if my rears are 330 or 345 mm. Do you know?

i've actually been watching alot of YouTube videos on cross drilled rotors. seems like it's not needed but more for looks...is that what you're going for? if anything slotted seemed like the way to go

Yes, just for the aesthetics. I don't track my car, nor drive the car extremely hard, so not looking for any additionally stopping power over stock. Prefer the look of cross drilled over slotted. Had M Performance cross drilled floating rotors on my previous 3 series, but BMW didn't make them for the F10. Going for Akebono pads to alleviate the annoying brake dust.

Bake/Gene, let me know if you ended up going with the cross drilled rotors. Question - can you go bigger rotors but keep the same calipers or do you need to upsize them as well?

I plan to upgrade my brakes later on (purely for aesthetics) but I'm of the understanding the cross drilled (and slotted) chews through pads that much quicker, making the brake service all the more frequent.

Yes I went with cross drilled rotors and Akebono ceramic pads. I ended up going with R1 Concepts rotors because the Stoptechs that were sent to me did not fit. I have been very happy with the R1 / Akebono setup. Stopping power and feel is nearly identical to stock and I get virtually no brake dust.
