Idle Tensioner Pulley Problem

So I bought the INA tensioner from FCP Euro for my F10 535i and after installing I noticed that the shaking has come back a lot. I don't know whether I got a faulty part but the older still shakes enough to mess up my idle.

I replaced mine with the same part from fcp. Still had shakes after install. That is the oem part supplier for the tensioner

Here is the video. The wobble sometimes gets even worse than what's in the video.

That is fine, IMO, because that's what it's supposed to do to allow some play...PLUS you are not getting noise like mine! I'll post a video.

just curious. During the tensioner work, has anyone replaced the idle pulley near the alternator and AC compressor? I could not get to it as the hard AC lines are in the way.

mashpotato, yup, I had the exact same problem and ended up replacing tension pulley and belt only. I did a bit of research and found AC compressor can be detached after removing air box and charge pipe. This will give me the way to idler pulley volt access.
