Calling all MHD tunes, need input

Getting ready to pull the trigger on MHD tune
On my 13' 535 msport xdrixe 73k Miles, just did plugs. Car has bms intake and msport exhaust
Also have the bms stage 1 piggyback which will be removed

Any problems with the tune?
Was it hard to install?
Do I just buy map 1?
Should I buy the monitoring add on?

Overall I'm not hunting for HP, just want the car smoother and more fun to drive around town.

Are you guys happy with it?
Any suggestions for me?
(I am settled on MHD so no need to suggest a different tune, unless it's fucking up your cars)

I also talked my buddy into doing it to his car. He's not on the forums and trusts what I tell him to do and don't want to send him down the wrong road

Thanks for your time, I appreciate it

No problems... Not difficult at all, just read the instructions and follow them to a T. I used a 10A charger when flashing. I would suggest that at a minimum or jumper cables to a running car to keep the voltage up. I would definitely buy the monitoring add on just to see what is going on. You can buy map 1, but if you have E85 available nearby, I'd get the Ethanol map pack also. 30% E85 gives stage 1 a noticeable bump with more timing and a little more boost.

Do not skimp on the cable, get one that is suggested, use a good android phone or tablet and put it in airplane mode as instructed.

Definitely happy. Just follow the instructions.

I am sort of happy- not so happy with the timing pulls but that could just be the car acting up. My car has 63k miles with fresh set of spark plugs, and running 91 octane tune on 93 octane fuel but my car is still pulling timing. I know my IAT temps are in the 121-130 °F range and I need to upgrade to Wagner FMIC but I have not really figured out what's causing the timing pull. Check out the MHD datalog thread to see my logs.

Have you looked into custom tune?

2011 535i 6-speed manual here, PWG... Car is stock except for BMW M-performance exhaust.

In the short time that I have had it, it is one of the best aftermarket products that I have dealt with. I did not spring for monitoring, I will do so if I sense problems. The Stage 1 93 works very very well, smoother response but noticeably more powerful as well.

Install was straightforward with no codes or bugs remaining.

I added a 0.3 sec burble which is just right for me.

I do not recommend the "quiet cold start" option, with it, the car, a manual, stalled easily. So the high rpm cold start stays, I went back on this.

129-133 F which is inline with other F10 IATs on stock intercooler. I have my logs posted in the MHD logs thread.
