I don't believe you can order it painted but i'm sure If you are willing to pay for it any vendor would arrange for this to be done. I'd contact Evan at Tischer or maybe even IND since they do lots of paint work on parts they sell.

Once you get the bracket you can mount any diffuser meant for the M5. The rear bumper area is the same between all F10 models once you get this.

All comfort access cars have the foot activated tailgate.

2011 550I M Sport has not trunk Comfort Access feature??

I'm adding the OEM M5 exhaust and OEM M5 Diffuser.
my car is a 2011 M sport with comfort access, however it does NOT have trunk comfort access feature.
Do I need to order the M5 specific Bracket for the M5 diffuser?
Or, as I have no trunk comfort access, is this not necessary?
Thanks!

I've always thought the M5 diffuser looked amazing, but I'm wondering if the bracket will fit on the 2015 model? I have the comfort access including the trunk.

So why is it you have to take out one side of the bumper and tail light?

You need to be able to maneuver the bumper insert out and back in and the only way to do that is to loosen one side of the bumper gain more room. To loosen one side of the bumper there is a screw that tailight is blocking.

I just did this the other day. You need to remove one side so you can remove the screws that are holding the bumper. Then remove the black plastic piece and replace it with the new one that will go with your M5 diffuser. I eventually just did the other side as well so I can install my new diffuser the remount the entire bumper. It isn't as bad as it looks removing the entire bumper.

Kevinedamoe, did you happen to take pics of how the cut method looked before buttoning everything up?

I'm interested in doing it your way now.

I have a 2014 535i Msport and I would like to add the 550i diffuser as I would like to add a quad exhaust. Which is the part number for the 550i diffuser in this diagram and where can I order this from? Thanks in advance!

You can't really see but it's pretty simple. I actually found out how to do it from one of the other guys on the forums here. Look up how to install M5 diffuser and there should be one guy that just cut the plastic piece just like I did.

Just did this today. Wanted people to know that when removing the bumper cover, you DO NOT need to remove the light. In fact, you can skip the steps about removing any of the plugs within the trunk which holds the inner linings together. All you need to do within the trunk is to remove the drip guard and you can access the one bolt that is holding the bumper cover. Don't fool yourself, this takes sometime, about 3 hours.

I have had comfort access all this time and never known that... I always just used the button on the trunk! Guess not a huge loss if I do this and lose that.

If I have comfort access does it mean I should be able to wave my foot and open the trunk or not necessarily?

Correct. If you have C.A. you can open the trunk by waving your foot under the diffuser
