Hi everyone,

I have a 2011 520d F10 M Sport which has, what appears to be, the basic climate control system with vents below the temperature dials. There is no way to sync the temperature zones and I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade. I have found several eBay auctions for climate control units for F10 models which do away with the vents and replace them with a small plastic circle under the left hand temperature dial - they also appear to allow control of each zone by hitting "Auto" on the face of the dial which the original does not have. Has anyone else considered this upgrade, if so could you tell me if it is worthwhile and just as simple as swapping out the existing control panel for the more fully featured one?
