2013 F10 550i M Sport (Dark Graphite Metallic)
Hello all!
Been lurking in this F10 forum for a while now. Also did some lurking around in the E70 forum when I purchased the wife a 2011 X5 35i Sports Activity in Alpine White back in 2012. Seen a lot of very nice F10s and everyone provides a lot of great information. So, I finally pulled the trigger, been wanting one for a very long time. My plan was to get a 528i or a 535i, but as I continued my search I fell in love with the 550i and the 400HP! So, I ended up getting a 550i. But, as I’m driving around the DMV DC/Maryland/Virginia area (very congested) I'm really unable to enjoy and utilize all the power in this car so I’m starting to wonder if I should have went with the 535i. Nevertheless, I love everything about this car from the HUD, to the soft closing doors. The combination of luxury, muscle and sportiness is what you get in this car. But there is one thing that I do hate…The damn cup holder! The struggle is real, trying to put my coffee mug in the cup holder during my morning commute to work...smh! Anyways, just to give you an idea of what it came with: M Sport Dark Graphite Metallic Mocha Nappa Seats Cold Weather Package Executive Package Luxury Seating Package Sorry for the picture quality. Congrats! I am in the area as well and drive into DC every day and the traffic is horrible. You will soon learn to love the comfort of this car, and when you need the power it's there.

Welcome aboard! There are lots of members here that has 550's and that can provide you with valuable information. I have a 535i and I consider to be the best of both worlds. It has a powerful engine while at the same time provides good gas mileage. I got mine in february and since them I have been lurking the forum and have been able to receive valuable info and nice mods to have.
Good luck with your ride

CONGRATS! Same here! I enjoy the power of the 535 but you can always add more power! The cup holder does suck! Don't worry, practice putting your cup a few times and it becomes easier and easier! But the first time I tried I swear I thought I was gonna break it!

Beautiful car congratulations!!!
I have yet to own a BMW that has even marginal cupholders. They're either too small, too flimsy, or ridiculously located to be of almost no value. It seems like the designers are all finished with the car when someone says "Ach! scheisse zee cupholders!!" I'm also enjoying the power of my 550 but our roads around metro Detroit are also getting so busy that the power is wasted. It seems like since I've gotten my car, I spend all my time behind someone in the fast lane going 5 mph slower than the speed limit with no idea their car has rearview mirrors and someone might be behind them. Enjoy your car!

CONGRATS!!! I went back an forth with the 550i and 535i aswell but decided I would prob stay out of trouble with the 535i so I went that route. This thing still moves, main difference is the pull on the FWY. I drove a 550- for a week and it sure put a smile on my face on the fwy. Congrats!!

Congrats! I recently went from a 535 to a 550, both beautiful cars. 550 definitely has a ton a power

One thing that really sucks is when I do punch it I have to let off so soon, because in like 8 seconds or so you’re doing around 100mph Quote:
