Big Dinan Turbo on 528i

My car is 528i 2012, have installed DP, Charge, inlet pipe, AFE intake, jb4 set on map 1. wanted more power, so went with Dinan big turbo and upgraded my inter cooler with Wagner one. It took like 5 hours to install the intercooler and the turbo.

Took it for short test just to see if there is leaks, everything seems to be fine, later took it for hard drive, I feel low end is the same, but car pulls the red line, but I thought will be a lot better. I even gave it to my friend that drives has 328i with FBO, and without telling him I upgraded my turbo he said it drives like stock 535i

. He told me because I have DP with stock muffler the bottle neck is there !!.

You should get a nice tuning which is considered the most important investment specially for modified cars. There are many options including mission performance and bootmod3. That should take advantage of all your mods and make them work together to make more power.

btw could you provide more info on the dinan turbo including how much it costs?

The F10 ecu is different then the F30 ecu. Its. missing maps that needs to flashed on. Def hit up MissionPerformance

Usually, for such intensive work peoples do a baseline dyno run. Even if you didn't do one before mods, you should do it now. There are few N20 dyno runs on the forum to compare.

Looks like Intercooler is the same as F30 , did you buy the F10 one or the same F30 uses?

Is it me, or the Turbo wheel look identical?

I was thinking the same thing, but then with Dinan you aren't paying for decent performance gains so much as points towards the Dinan badge.

This is made for the F10 and 528i, the F30 will not fit.

I was going for Pure but found out Dinan doesnt require core.
