H&R Springs for my 2011 535 xDrive M Sport
Hi there, I have purchased a set of H&R springs for my 535 Msport and will have them installed by next week. However I been reading some mixed reviews. Any of you guys have any issues. Actually any thoughts would be appreciated as in look of the car, noise if any, comfort etc. How does it feel when you driving on comfort mode, normal, sport or sport+. Thanks in advance.

I like how it looks. Please let me know when you drive your car a bit more your experiance on comfort, normal, and sport/sport+ modes. How much did you pay to install? Did you do alignment? Hope you don't mind me asking. Thanks,

Hi. drove it today and this weekend and no problems. Quite nice and sport. Very flat cornering on a few twisties I've tried. I mostly drive it in sport mode and sport + and don't really use comfort/normal unless I forget to change it out of those. Install was at the dealer $600 labor/tax and since I had just purchased the car they cut me a discount on the alignment and did it for $120 for a grand total of $720 total installed. Could have gotten the installation done at a local car shop for <$500 but figured it best to have the dealership work on it since from what I've seen online by those who did springs themselves that the easiest way to get to the rear springs was thru the rear speaker openings and rear deck. So if that was the case and it involved going into my rear stereo deck..I figured I'd rather have the dealers do it. Better to fix anything that they messed up...but all works and looks great.

I have H&R springs on my F10 since April of this year. No problems whatsoever. For me the ride is just as smooth as stock just feels a lot tighter going into turns. I paid $350 for installation.

A&KMotorwerk located in New Jersey where I live. They are members in this forum. Good guys that know what their doing. Installation took 3.5 hours. I've heard some outrageous labor charges for a simple job.

No kidding! I was quoted $1300 for the H&R install and after tring to negotiate they went down to $1000. Bunch of rip off's Grand Rapids, MI. Makes me go to NJ have the job done, haha

Hello everyone,
Had my H&Rs for more than a year now. I like how they look and feel. There's a bit of bounce to them on the highways when going >120Km/hr (~70MPH) but otherwise they're not too harsh and corner significantly better than stock. It feels more in line of how the 3 series feels like with the sport suspension if you had one of those before. Overall happy with them. Install was $250 here in a local shop (Toronto, Canada). Had alignment done 3 months after to let them really settle in. The guy at the shop said the way the shocks are configured you really can't mess it up too much. It was off, but not by much when they had it on the computer at the dealer. Cost me $149 to align which is fine. Hope this helps. MBA |

Gragi,
Check out RMP motors in Etobicoke. Rocco is the owner and a car enthusiast. You can call or send him an email. Replies within 24 hours. They have a website so you can google them and the address. My experience was excellent and have no problems recommending them. MBA |

I love the difference, it is a bit more sensitive to bumps, really noticeable when I enter or leave a steep driveway. LTBMW did a great job. Here is a pic I took early this morning.

RMP Is a good place for springs install. Rocco is priced reasonably.
If you are going for the look, HR springs would be the choice. But if you are going for the better ride, Eibach would be a better choice, just my opinion. Reason: HR lowered too much, car is heavy already and resulting of ride being a bit bouncy and stiff. |

Here's mine. Same look as itschase and I've NOT noticed a bumpier ride or decrease in comfort. But then again remember I am a long time M3 driver and my car had M sport suspension package as well...so it works for me.
