Isofix and boot net
how come some cars have the isofix cover like in the picture below while in my one I need to push my hand in to find it behind the seat, and also some cars have a net on the left hand side of the boot.

I have the net on mine! Must be a Canadian thing?
On a side note, does anyone know if there're large trunk/cargo nets available? I hate how my groceries move around...

My one was delivered with the big net, not the one on the side, you should be able to get it through the dealer/accessories.

The Isofix is now in most cars in Europe i.e. prodcued after 2000, my one is hidden behind the seat so when fitting the kids seats I have to puch the bracket against the leather to reach the isofix hooks, I thought the setup in the photos was only for touring versions, my wife use to have this in her old 3 series touring and now also in the x3, maybe is down to the 60:40 split seats option.

I bought (and then returned) the large net for F10; but it did not fit the F10 hooks very well. I have now got the anti-slip mat & box instead. I am still interested in the net; so a picture of your boot with the fitted net would be helpful. Also; do you have split seats?

The ones with the external caps like the picture are F10s with the fold down rear seats. Ones without the fold down rear seats have the Isofit hooks behind the meeting edges of the rearseats.

1. Please post a picture of your net. 2. Are your hooks on the side of the boot (similar to the picture) or are your hooks on the floor of the boot? I hope your photo of your boot will make this all clear….

Hi, I put up a picture tomorrow, the hooks on my car are as per photo already uploaded, i.e. on the side of the boot.

My car hooks are in the same place as yours (i.e. on the side). However, when I purchased a net; it was very loose fitting and did not seem to be the right size; so i returned the net and instead purchased a anti-slip boot mat + box. I await your picture to get a better idea...

Thank you. I have exactly the same boot and the same net. I returned the net as it did not have a very snug-fit (same as yours).
I also have a boot net in my 3 Series Coupe (E92). I'll post a picture of that later to have you compare the two. The 3 Series net is so much more better fitting… so my expectation was that the 5 series would be very similar (unfortunately not)

This is the net in the older 3 series (E92) coupe.
E92 Boot net 5 Series Saloon Boot net {Courtesy of MartinMustang} I think the 5 series net (above) is actually designed for 5-series Touring/ Estate which has equidistant floor hooks. I expected the 5 series to be a similar design and was quite disappointed when it turned out to be quite different. The 5 series boot net fits very loose and is not very snug-fit as in the 3 series.
