It is indeed. A few years ago I watched somebody reverse into my car in a car park as I was walking back to it. The guy was clearly just going to drive off until I stopped him. The weird thing was he came across as a perfectly decent bloke who happily paid for the repair without quibble. If I hadn't witnessed it I wouldn't have believed he was the sort of person who would do a runner.

Terrible, I had it happen to me twice within a two month period. Should be a £200-£250 smart repair from BMW

Had something similar a few weeks back, only cost £140 to be fixed by local chap.

These things happen, I know it is really annoying at the time, just get it fixed and move on.

Yep, in my case the security camera team was able to tell me it was a Ford Mondeo but not able to see the Reg. nearly went for the dash camera, the bill to fix my one was £350, mainly down to paint work.
So never park near long cars like Mondeo's ....
