Aux Power Plugs
I was wondering if anyone has paid attention to their aux plugs power?
I have a Radar detector in one and Dash cam plugged into another. Under normal circumstances when I lock the car the plugs will stay hot for 15-30 minutes. But they randomly become hot at other times for a few minutes. While reviewing my dash cam in the middle of the day in parking lot, or driveway or whatever, the camera will start recording and I will hear the beeps of the radar detector. It only lasts for a few (random) minutes and goes off. I know there is nobody messing with the keys or car. The dash cam has a battery and motion sensor, and will occasionally record for loud noises/etc, but the radar detector doesn't go off in those. I know the N63 has an issue with batteries, not sure about the rest of the F10 family, is this somehow related? Matt

They turn on everytime someone gets near the car on my 2012 550i with comfort access. I think if you get in range of the parking sensors the car powers up a little bit. Not 100% sure though.
