1994 Ford Fiesta 1.2i fell apart after 11 months of usage... Ford, what do you expect?
1995-1997 no car, public transportation
1998 Volvo S40 T4, what a splendid ride it was, then... but lacking in almost every relevant domain.
2001 BMW 320d E46 touring, first real quality car. Everything felt sorted out so good, really fine!
2004 BMW 320d E90 sedan sport line, looking real sharp but very harsh ride which spoiled the driving experience a lot!
2006 BMW 530i AT E39, still have it, don't know what it is: comfy or drivers choice? In both groups it lacks... a lot!
2009 BMW 320d E91 LCI, best car I've ever owned, frugal but engaging every time again! My best car ever!
2011 BMW 520d F10, whow... impressive, but not an enthousiast car at all. But everything is so high quality, it still impresses every time I get in it!
2014... probably a 325d F30 or an LCI 520d, but I prefer the former, my wife probably the latter. Haha, either way, both are build out of the material dreams are made of.

Quite a few there, and from the Golf 4 motion onwards, I ran 2 cars, until just a few months ago and I am now running 3 cars. So some overlap, but that was the order they were bought I think? The fiesta was bought at the back end of '99 so 18 motors in 13 years pretty much.

Speaking to the wife, there was a few I forgot. But probably because they were never owned for long or something...

So it was closer to 21 motors in 13 years. Oh dear. The worst of it is there are at least 3 of them motors I had for 3 years at a time, so the rest must have been pretty quickfire (like the 2 days Golf GTI, and the 3 month 2012 Audi A4).
