M5 Exhaust but 550i tips?

Has anyone done this? I recently installed the 3D Design CF Diffuser and had the 550i exhaust on the car. Yesterday I got my M5 exhaust installed, but I actually preferred the look of the 550I tips with this diffuser. It just seems to flow nicer! However, i still want a little rumble. Has anyone changed their exhaust, but left the dual tips on? Exhaust shop said they could integrate the 550i tips with the M5 exhaust. I know I'm in the minority, but I just feel like the car looks nicer with dual exhausts.

I did it a few months ago. Myself and the guy who owned the shop agreed the stock 550 tips looked better. It came out excellent !

I ended up getting some 3.5" tips and at the same time they removed my exhaust flaps. I'm getting more drone at lower RPMs than I'd like, but anything over 2.5K and it sounds amazing. Any remedies for the drone around 2.5 RPMs?

Maybe I should rephrase. Can the outer tip be partially blocked off instead of fully blocked off/fully open? Hoping that will give me a good mix between what I had and what I have now...
