LOL I was gonna say how did you spend 70k+ on a car and think $2200 is too much for a tune offering 70whp or thereabouts but I see you got the 335 and to be honest its obvious there is gonna be a higher charge for any 5 series vs a 3 because there is a much larger market and much larger competition. I just got the Velos tune today and they will be dropping it off shortly and I think the price is more than fair considering its not just the tune your paying for but I wont get into it, suffice it to say that I think anyone who purchased the N63 and wants more power will see value in this.

The facts that: (1) you have to mail them the ecu, including for anytime the dealer overwrites the programming with BMW OEM updates; and (2) there is no warranty for issues caused by the tune, are both deal-breakers for me.

Actually at the moment the tune is only available locally as there are no remote tuning options available just yet.

In regards to warranty and deal breaker's, we understand tuning is not for everyone but thanks for taking the time to comment.

I think what he means, that with the price difference being so little in comparison to Dinan on sale, it seems better to opt for the warranty. Maybe the introductory pricing should be less, to offset the lack of any suck warranty. Just my .02, just because I too was looking for an alternative to Dinan, but not at that price.
