Exterior I like very much but not as much as the 5er, rear view is outstanding and better than the 5er. Interior no match for F10/11. Sorry, the pop-up nav looks like an afterthought.

Had a chance to see and drive the A7 here in LA. I have a F10 535 M sport on the way and should be here in a few weeks. As an former A8 owner I was very curious about the A7. Audi has come along way in the past 5 years. I think its stunning from the front and average from the rear. The hatchback thing just does not make sense to me on a big sedan. When I opened it I was reminded of my 1977 Vega GT hatchback lol. It is so hard to get a quality test drive here in LA. I felt that it handles great ( quattro does make a difference ) and had solid power but that supercharged V6 just did not have the same punch and as new BMW in-line 6 found in the 535. I think it may prove to be one of the best ever. Just my .02.

"the Audi press release I was given said the sat nav screen can be hidden away when not required. Given that its used to display settings and status for nav, audio/media, telephone etc i want it there need all the time when DRIVING....what's the point hiding it i don't care if its hidden when i'm not in the car." have to agree i don't like pop-up displays in cars. guess i'm just used to the BMW way of always having the screen builtin and visible |
