Car is looking great so far. Love the wheels. The grille has to be an improvment. The current grille is ugly and squint!

If im not mistaken I am pretty sure thats a 7 series in testing! We have just ordered a 750Li and I have seen many pictures of the 7 series and they look extremely similiar in size and proportions. If that is in fact a 5 series then that is one HUGE 5 series lol and I don't know what im talking about.

Looking at the below pic you will see how the 7 will have a bigger grille that is more low slung than the 5's. It will sit below the headlights, whereas the 5's headlights will sit in line with the grille:

Also, who remembers this sketch?

I think it is stunning. It's based on info from European sources and has been around for just over 2 years. So far the headlights are looking to be correct. Even the grille be accurate, the shape matches but we dont have the slats to confirm the "moustache". I dont think there will be 1 though. BMW should be following the CS concept style.

Then again, anyone could have produced this sketch. It is after all a 5 body with 3 series coupe front bumper styling and a 6 grille. But then we look at that kink on the shoulder. That has just been shown in camo recently. Hmm, I wonder.

I just have this feeling that this 5er will turn out looking just "right". Like, I'm almost positive it'll be a looker, which is funny considering how little we know about its design. It has great proportions, a sleek roofline, and a good stance. Let's pray that BMW can fit in all the details.

I hope the 5 series turns out to be a good looking car. I also hope the gas prices are manageable so that, we can tune the hell out of the TT V8
