295/30 Michelin Pilot SS on 20 x 10.5" rim

I see that several run 285/30 and 275/30 tires on 20 x 10.5 wheels but the spec's on Michelin says a 295/30 matches best. Is this because the 295/30 doesn't fit?

They'll fit no problem.

That's what size I'll be running on my car - hopefully next week.

So now I'm concerned about the offset. Would ET35 be the right one. I have seen ET38 but with smaller tires. The 295 I think will stick out with ET38.

The black f10 in the link I posted has ET35 in the rear, ET38 would be 3mm less aggressive.
What offsets can you choose from?

Vinfast sent me great side profile pictures of his 20x10.5 with 285/30s running ET38 and it looks like he could not bump to 295/30. That is why I was thinking ET35. I just went back to your pictures and must have missed the side pictures. Perfect they look right on. No inssues with the inside right? I see your fronts are ET29. I may not be able to get that. It would be either ET30 or ET25. Since you say yours stick slightly out with the 255/35 I assume I will need to go ET25. You guys rock, thanks for the help

LOL, it's no my car, but a fellow Norwegian. I have my F10 on order though.

But you do realise that ET35 will stick out 3mm more than the ET38?!?

No I didn't. I assumed that brought it in. The picture I have with ET35, your picture and 295/30 tires, are flush. The ET38 on Vinfast's car with 285/30 stick slightly out.

It's often difficult to see how the wheels sits on a car by looking at pics, since it's often not taken at the same angle.

But to me the ET35 with the 295/30 looks like they stick out a few mm past the fender, espesially if you look at the 'left rear' pic.

If your planning to lower it alot i would go with ET40 if that is an option. I'm still thinking about lowering the car with Hartge 30/30 mm. Front is no problem at all but concerned about rear wheels still.
