Clicking noise, Reverse Gear.. can you help theorise??????

Hello Engineers, experiencers and genuises.

2011 F10 530Sport Auto. 54,000 miles

I am hearing a single click sound from underneath my car when engaging reverse gear and moving backwards swiftly.

This is mostly 1 in 4/5 times that I move backwards fast. Often when doing a three point turn, or reversing around a corner at reasonable speed.

This is normally accompanied after first being in drive, stopping, switching to reverse and reversing quickly.

The noise is coming from the rear axle, suspension, gearbox, certainly underneath the car and is relatively loud. Its like a metallic click, rather than a clang.

Would love to know your thoughts. Just one month out of warranty and car recently had a new gearbox fitted. Problem I think was there before the gearbox also. But not when I first collected the car.

Thanks in advance.
