Powdercoat Recommendations - DFW

Hey Guys -

Just joined the forum and have had my F10 since June.

2014 Carbon Black BMW 550i......

I'm in the Frisco Area and i'm looking for a good quality powdercoat shop. I have the 351M wheels and one of ONLY things i don't like on my F10 is the silver on the stock rims. It has to go. I have done plastidip on previous cars and it has come out beautifully but that was a Toyota 4runner and i'm looking for a more finished gloss look on the F10. Probably going with a gun metal or metallic grey type color.

Does anybody have any recommendations on a good powdercoat shop in the DFW area? Here's a pic of my current setup.

I'm open to any suggestions on wheel color. Pics help if you have them.

Gloss black rims would look pretty sick. Get your calipers done a different color at the same time maybe like red or yellow and it will make your wheels pop more

I think you’re on the right track. I’d go with a gloss graphite if you choose to powder coat.

just save your $$$ and buy new wheels, or 343 M5 wheels, can't go wrong with either choice..

Use autoflex. Way more glossy than plastidip. And will keep the factory color underneath Incase you ever wanted to sell the wheels in future.

Do you have a larger pic? What is the colour? I was thinking of going graphite or gunmetal on my Carbon Black.

Thanks all for the opinions. I like the stock look but i'm really looking for something different. Here's a picture I found that shows the color i'm going for. Definitely agree it has to be a gloss finish.

I like the M5 rims too but does anybody know how much I could get a used set for?

check the MarketPlace for some reps if you don't want to fork over for a new set. if you decide to keep your wheels i'd go gunmetal
