MP: Setting up a fly-in Group-Buy for NY/NJ customers
Since we have joined these boards, we have received a substantial amount of requests from east coast members in regards to performance re-flashes. Since there are quite a lot of customers that would like to get tuned but do not wish to send out their computer, we are setting up a group-buy for which I will personally fly into New York for a day or two (depending on the number of customers) in order to offer our services to you. The minimum number of customers for a successful GroupBuy is 10. If we get more then 10 customers, we can stay an extra day to make sure everyone interested gets re-flashed.
The flashes we will be offering: S63 (Both electric and mechanical waste gates) Stg1: 75whp/100ftlb gains S55 Stg1: 55whp/70ftlb gains N63tu Stg1: 70whp/50ftlb gains N55 (Both electric and mechanical waste gates) F10 Stg1: 45whp/125ftlb gains F30 Stg1: 55whp/125ftlb gains N20/N26 Stg1: 35whp/45ftlb gains N47 Stg1: 25whp/40ftlb gains We will be offering Stage 1 and Stage 2 re-flashes during this event. Our Stage 1 re-flashes are optimized for daily driven vehicles where reliability is the highest priority. Stage 2 re-flashes have the CAT error system deleted and allow for much higher power gains paired with downpipes. On the Dyno Tuning: If we have a customer or two with heavily modified vehicles that require a on-the-dyno custom built tune specific for their vehicle, that is something we can accommodate. Please send us a PM or email with such requests. Future updates and Re-Flashes: All of the customers participating in this group-buy will receive a free M-Boot upgrade. With this option, a custom bootloader will be loaded onto your computer allowing us to remotely flash your computer in the future. If you decide to go for higher power by upgrading supporting hardware, we can build and upload a custom firmware for you remotely. Vehicle Coding All of the customers participating in this group-buy will receive a massive discount on complete vehicle coding services. Our normal price is $300, and the group-buy price will be $100 per car. Pricing: Since we are flying in to you guys for a re-flash, the pricing will be set based on the base prices listed on our website. As a limited time offer for this group buy, we will include an M-Boot upgrade option for all of the groupbuy customers, a $150 option, for free. For more information, please send us a PM or an email. We will be glad to answer all of your questions as quickly as possible. GroupBuy list. I will update this list every time a new customer signs up via PM. If your name is not on a list and you requested to be part of the GroupBuy, please let me know so I can add you. 1) xenoz535 2011 535i 2) Eki88 2015 535XI 3) Secret_Asian 4) brooksie84 2011 535i 5) phil7027 2015 550xi Last edited by MissionPerformance; 05-05-2016 at 11:48 PM.. |

No interest in Stage 1. Go big or go home...
n63tu flash is double the price of n55? Is it that much harder to tune the n63tu??

To go big, you need supporting mods for your n63. As it was posted above, stage 1 is designed for a completely stock vehicle with reliability as a main concern. If you want big power, you need stage 2 flash with downpipes as well as turbo upgrade to pass 520whp mark SAFELY. We got over 200 ftlb gains at 2500 rpms and 520whp with just downpipes and tune to see how much original turbos can handle. Is that safe? Nope. Will we sell these gains to public, nope. There are many tuners that advertise extremely high gains using factory hardware that you should consider if you want high numbers. That is something we will never offer as a mass produced tune for our customers, only as a "on the dyno" session for a well built vehicle. We have very long history of actually working with many of these engines and know what happens when you push the power past the safe limits. Regarding pricing: For starters, s63 and n63 have 2 computers, as opposed to only 1 on n55. Also opening the s63 and n63 computer takes double the work because of the glue location. |

I said go big, not go ridiculous, LOL.
You stated that "The final production stage 2 tune is dialed down too 100ft-lb/100hp gains with smoother torque curve." What additional mods does this require please?

A stage 2 tune with 100/100 gains that we have posted requires downpipes as a bare minimum. Also intake would have a huge benefit to this vehicle once we release it in really near future. |

I'm curious and interested in this... I currently have a 2012 535i xdrive.
Got a few questions: What downpipes do you recommend for stg2 tune? Will it make sense to go for a catted downpipes? Is it worth the cost/benefit in your opinion? NYS inspection requires I think a minimum of 2 incomplete sensor. Will your cat delete coding will throw an incomplete on the monitor (essentially make it 3 and won't pass nys inspection)? Do you modify the throttle response on your tune? Thanks! Last edited by M5Beast_NYC; 03-14-2016 at 10:36 AM.. |

Everything is ready and we will be using those new torque maps, the ones you liked, during the dyno day next Saturday. Those maps really let the turbo run more efficiently and should provide for better gains at top end.

Ugh I'm so jealous.
I've got to find more people in the ATX/SATX area. Hell, I'd even drive to Dallas/Houston if I had to. I was considering a JB Stage 1 + Sprint Booster, but for a few more bucks, I'd rather have something that I'd feel much more comfortable with. If there's no Texas group buy soon, I might have to send off my ECU when I'm on vacation in May.
