CNC cut carbon (ish) diffuser
I made these myself at my work. It is CNC cut .25 black flexible plastc with carbon vinyl wrap on the top. The vinyl wrap has a seam in the middle but it is not noticeable. Looks amazing and very authentic. I am about to make another one as my GF destroyed it while parking the car against a parking block in the winter. If you are interested I will make you one 300 shipped US and 250 in Canada. I am not a car shop or anything, a regular guy who made a cool diffuser to go under your lip or bumper, so let me know... This is exactly what I've wanted to make for myself, but $300 is a little steep. I simply want something that's expendable and replaceable what the inevitable happens and we hit a curb. $300 is a lot to be replacing. It can simply be painted black. Anyway to do this for about $100/$150. What's the whole piece look like?

Problem is that it takes almost a full material to cut it dueto size. It's about 60" x 27". Plus 2 yards of carbon vinyl, again very expensive. Material and vinyl before CNC cutting is around 120. Not to mention shipping for a piece this large from Canada will cost me $80.
Add up the math and 200 is around my cost before CNC and labour. I can do 230 in straight black... If anyone is interested let me know... |
