Lowering springs needed or not?

Hi Guys

I've fitted new set of 20" alloys/tyres to the car but now the front of the car looks a little high... and possibly the back needs to be lowered too?

I don't know much about lowering springs etc, hence me putting up this post. Just wanted to get peoples thoughts and any recommendations you have for what I should lower it by, which ones to get and where from... or should I leave it as it is.

Alloys are 8.5J on the front and 10J on the rear

Tyres are 245/35/20 & 275/30/20

The car being an M Sport, its already lowered from standard/factory.

That looks nice! How much 'mm' have you dropped it by on the front?

Cheers

I've just lowered my M Sport with Eibach pro, there's a definite difference on the front gap and a slight one on the back, the real difference is how much better the car feels without losing any ride quality

Mine is SE, so front has seen approx 15-20mm drop.
Rear drop is 3-5mm.

As above, its handling which is much better. Still not as good as what you get out of e9x after eibach springs installation.

Thanks for the reply. Is yours dropped 30mm front, 25mm back?

Do you have a link to where you got yours from or a part no please?

I've got this part no: E10-20-022-04-20 but just wanted to confirm its the right one. Got the number from here:

I'd say the fronts dropped by about 25 mm and the rear about 10 mm, here's the link to where I got mine from thanks to Makkan00, way cheaper than the UK and delivered within the week

I would say that the overall profile, performance of your car will improve and if your roads aren't that bad and you don't have too much snow, do it.

I did H&R springs and love it. It snows like mad where I live as well but no major issues (so far lol)
