Best non run flats for my 530d

Evening all. My rears are about done and I read constantly that people ditch the run flats in favour of a better ride from non run flats. I have also seen the price of the identical replacement Dunlops to what I have and they're about £330 each for the rears!

The one thing I do like however about them are the large rim protectors they have on these Dunlops.

I have 20's on too so the ride is particularly harsh, the rears are 275/30/20.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for a tyre that's non run flat and has large rim protectors still? I do a lot of country lane driving, on muddy rough roads, and hardly anything on motorways.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Looks like it's going to be the Michelin PSS as many have said how good they are. My only question is for anyone who has them, do they have decent large rim protectors on? The protection on the Dunlop runflats I have one are the only good thing about them, so would like the same from the PSS.

Anyone got any pics?

Thanks

I'm running Vredestein Ultrac Vorti's on mine. 20" rims too.

Ride quality much improved and rim protector is pretty good too.

I got all four for £700 too....

Cheers John! I think even the Michelin PSS are £266 each for rears, so still not 'that cheap'. Will look into yours too...

Just wondering - If I go for the non runflat Michelin PSS's - does the tyre pressure monitoring still work on them? Do the sensors reside in the alloy? Do I need to do anything about it?

Cheers

TPMS is in the Valve nothing to do but reset the TPMS , hope the tyre fitter does not break one.
