Anyone interested in the RHO-plate kits

Sup guys!

Im not sure how many F10 owners live in or around LA, but cops have been pulling over cars left and right! I've seen streets where about 8-10 bicycle cops camp out and pull over cars.

Anyways to get to the point, I bought some auto-zone kit to mount my front plate (I got the idea from an e90post). That kit itself was ok, but I didnt like how the bolts got all rusted. So I recently hit up Calvin @ www.rhoplate.com about a possible discount.

This is the deal that he offered.

5 Rho plate kits for F10's @ $60 a piece. He's willing to give us 10% off but we pay shipping. Also, he said that he will only ship to one location. Hence the reason I am posting this in the California section.

Would anyone be interested in this? Check it out at www.rhoplate.com

Im more than likely going to purchase one whether we get the 10% off or not. But I just wanted to pass this on to the other F10 owners.

Arg, I just bought one.

Edit: Should have read the post first as this is for Cali folks anyway. I don't feel so bad after all

Edit1: figured I'd at least help with a picture...I only keep it on when I'm driving to and from work as they require your car to be "up to spec" for local laws when entering.

Good idea Brian but I hate front plates in general. Hopefully I don't get a ticket tomorrow!

you should have left the dealer papers on your windshield! especially if youre not running your plates on the rear... itll make the cops think your car is new with no plates

but what i actually did was buy this kit from autozone

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...uestid=2188886

quick install and it was less than $10... i took it off because it was chrome but this past weekend i spray painted it black and it looks a lot better... maybe you can give that a shot?

i freakin hate the front plates also, but when you live/work in area where cops are everywhere i prefer having them on to avoid getting a ticket...
