Wrong art cover when playing songs?

I have searched the forum for help with this but no luck...

When I use my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1) connected through USB cable in the armrest and play songs, some of the times the wrong art cover is displayed on the Nav screen. It seems it sticks with the art cover of a song previously played? Does anyone know why or have a solution? The car is a 530d xDr, MY2012, built in Nov 2011.

I have had the same thing happen to me as well. It will also get stuck on the previous song title and artist/album name. I have found that unplugging the iPhone and plugging it back in clears the problem.

I am using the snap in media cradle, this also happens with the standard white Apple cable plugged into the USB port in the armrest.

I have that issue when using the USB cable and when I use the media adapter the car loses the connection with the phone repeatedly. Has been to the dealer and they find nothing. Even though they have reproduced the problem. Pisses me off!

chuck the apple in the bin and buy an android phone....

Today I also noticed it stuck with the wrong cover and track/title...very annoying.

Maybe replacing the iPhone with a Samsung Galaxy S3 will solve the problem?
