Really annoyed if they do this here in the UK!!
Though with the Audi A6 coming with Nav as standard i can see why BMW are following suit. Was pretty much told that when i collected mine in April!

Last I checked the year is 2011, navigation should be a standard option in all luxury cars IMO...

As I posted under another thread:
US guys consider yourself lucky. In Canada you are forced to buy the navigation system - no discount, no exceptions. So in the case of the 535i the base price is posted at $62,300 BUT you can't build your own without the $5,400 Executive package. I'd love to hear what Consumer and Corporate Affaires would have to say about deceitful practices. If you are forced to buy the option than it is no longer an option. The base price should be advertised as $67,700. Bill

Seems like you got a great deal on your car. Can you share with us (or just PM me) what MF you got, and how much below invoice you paid? I thought residuals are 1% lower in May than in April? Thanks.

As stated earlier, the Nav option credit is for $1730, which is the wholesale price of the option and the money factor went up on 5 series for May as well.

F10 Nav discount
Another reason BMW may be discounting the nav is that the hard drive installed database in the new cars is flawed. It is not as good as the DVD-based prior versions of BMW nav, and as of this date, no fix is yet available. BMW is "working on it," as they are aware of the problem. My system has directed me to non-existent streets, trebled the distance to relatively nearby towns, and failed to recognize major thoroughfares.

This is a late response to the thread but I was told all BMW's that are being manufactured at this time will come with Navi even if you dont want one. The non navi electronics were made by a Japanese company located at the heart of the tragedy a few weeks ago.
I guess BMW's marketing department is trying to spin off the current production runs as 'free' navi when the current consumers really have no choice.
