Anyone have high quality protective seat covers?
I just picked up a 2011 550i M Sport...Alpine White with the Oyster/Black interior...really loving it...since its a daily driver I was thinking I might get some high quality seat covers to protect the light oyster leather, especially during road trips, etc...I did search around on the web but only came up with these:
These might be decent, but no photo on an actual F10: http://kellybmw.oemdealer.com/5-seri...3410_34079.php These are more of a "vest" style and not what I'm looking for: http://www.bmwpartsforless.com/produ...-seat-vest-f10 And these are the Wet Okole, you can custom order...possibly a good option in all black assuming they fit nice: http://www.autoanything.com/seat-cov...A1484A0A0.aspx I used to have a pair of high quality (black soft canvas feel) BMW brand seat covers for E46 3 Series, maybe they have not released the similar ones for F10 yet? Thanks for any help. |

I got the same Vehicle with the same exterior and interior color. You've got to post pictures!
Anyway I got ventilated seats so a seat covers would not work unless the cover is perforated. But when I was looking I was looking at the BMW Cotton poly ones. I think those would work but would not cover up the whole seat. Last edited by ausfahrt; 08-17-2011 at 10:59 PM.. |

That looks great I cant wait till mine gets here. It's waiting shipment at the moment! I love the color combo. I changed the interior from black to oyster/black on the last day you can change it. I'm glad I made the right decision. I hate to get off topic but what are you getting done?

I just dont get the seat cover thing. I bought my car to feel the leather when i use the care not some piece of nylon. Just dont wear new denims or wet denims in your car, be sensible with drinks etc and clean using leather care and you will be fine. BMW use good leather !

Yep I hear ya, I will certainly enjoy the leather...I am indeed careful and keep a super clean car...just would be nice to protect them in certain situations like long trips, etc...
Just got the 550 back today...some custom paint work, I'll post pics and details soon. |
