F10 strut nut socket recommendations

I'm going to attempt ACS springs install this weekend. Any recommendations on a strut nut socket or a technique?

Is it a 18mm? What is the torque spec for the strut nut?

The previous torque stated are incorrect.

Here are the torque specs based on https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...truts/1LHsblhj

Wheel bolts - 140Nm (103 ft-lb)

Front springs:
Tie rod bolt at strut - 45 Nm (33 ft-lb)
Upper control arm to swivel bearing - 56 Nm (41 ft-lb)
Bottom strut (1 bolt) - 90 Nm (66 ft-lb)
Top strut (3 bolts) - 28 Nm (21 ft-lb)
Spring strut to support bearing - 34 Nm (25 ft-lb)

Rear springs:
Top strut (3 bolts) - 28 Nm (21 ft-lb)
Bottom strut (1 bolt) - 250 Nm (184 ft-lb)
Spring strut to support bearing - 27 Nm (20 ft-lb)

fyi, these are the torque measurements I have for the other suspension bolts from previous threads:

Road wheel to hub........................120 Nm (102 ft-lb) - I just do mine at 95 ft-lb to be safe

Outer tie rod bolts ( 18mm nuts, and #5 allen ) : 65 Nm (48 ft-lb).
Stabilizer bar bottom (16mm ) : 65 Nm (48 ft-lb)
Struts .. TOP (3 nuts, 13mm) : 34 Nm (25 ft-lb)
Struts.. BOTTOM (18 mm / 16mm ) : 81 Nm (59 ft-lb)
I believe you can find the torque specs here

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...truts/1LHsblhj

I think it is an 18mm, I used a swivel impact socket to take it off once it the spring was secured on the spring compressor. And used a "stuby" impact wrench.

on the front I found it easier just to remove the bolt in the pic using an inverted
torx socket. FORGOT!! be careful of the brake lines and sensors when you remove this..use a bungee cord to keep it suspended.

I was able to remove one strut in lees than 15 minutes taking my time.

you also need a star key for the rears. i forgot what the size was but it's when you need to get access through the rear shelf to get to the rear shock nuts if i recall
