Can you clarify whether the 535i clutch packs are compatible for the 550i? Based on what I've read the 550 OEM clutch is compatible for 535i, so is there anything limiting the installation of these on the 550?

Per Sachs Performance division, they do not manufacture a clutch specifically for the F10 550.

Yes, the 135/335/535 can run the 550 clutches as an upgrade but running a clutch designed for the 135/335/535 in a 550 isn't suggested.
