my f13 m6 has comfort access and soft close doors. my passenger door is working fine:

1. stick hand in door and car unlocks
2. open door handle
3. glass rolls down slightly before door opens
4. close door lightly
5. soft close door activates and closes door
6. glass rolls up slightly

i noticed on my driver door comfort access still works (unlock + lock), however the soft close does not. when the door is closed lightly, i hear the soft close motor moving but it is not latching and unable to physically close the door. the glass does not appear to slightly go down either.

anyone else experience this problem? if so, what was the fix?

Replace the actuator. Can’t get soft close separately

I have a 2011 BMW 550i and when utilizing the master door button to lock/unlock the front passenger door will not unlock. It sounds as though the actuator is functioning yet the door lock will NOT unlock. Is the door actuator broken/frozen?
