UK BMW Online Problems....???

Hi Guys,

Anybody else got the issues with your BMW Online Services in the UK,
Everything has defaulted to German in the idrive/online, I thought i was going mad this morning..

Also the Online Connected Drive/Assist website has lost all my details and settings, Called the customer service just , they are aware and have got there bofins trying to fix it asap, major systems error also google services are not working too he said....

I did notice some issues but seems to work today.

Can you help - I have been trying to transfer a route from the connecteddrive website to my car but no luck so far. I can tranfer a nav destination from google maps which appears as a message on the idrive. When I create, store and send a route from BMW website, I can't see how to access it locally on the idrive.

Hi ..

yep its all ok again today by the looks of it....

Ive not tried that one yet myself, I have done destination from google maps that works everytime, but not a route from the website, id just call customers services for connecteddrive they are always very helpful

I've managed to set a route on the website and transfer, although it wasn't particularly intuitive, had to refer back to the PDF instructions a couple of times.

Not sure I'd bother doing it again, the problem is that because you're setting a specific route, it doesn't want to offer alternatives if you look on the nav and see traffic issues.

So, I think i'll stick to using google local search in the car, or just transfer an address from the iPhone app.

Thanks for the link to the manual, although it isn't helping!

The manual says that to retrieve the route I go to "saved journeys" in the Nav menu. However, this option does not appear for me! How odd.

Maybe I have an older version of the software?
