Occupation?
Don't mean to pry, but would be interested to know the occupations/walks of life of other members. Just curious to see if most private owners have the sheckles for an F10 in their back pocket or do you have to save/borrow/make other concessions to own what is generally considered to be the best pound for pound car in the world (at the moment).
Me? I'm an assistant manager in a bank in Dublin and have to save hard to scrape up the 50k for my F10. I hope others don't find this question too intrusive, apologies in advance if so. |

You are excited about getting your car tomorrow Finbrad - I hope the experience is as good as you hope.
I work in the Insurance Industry as a middle manager and the car is a reward to my wife and I for finally clearing our mortgage. This is our first ever BMW and I agree with your value for money assessment. I can't think of another car that would justify this type of outlay... It would also be interesting to know how many first time BMW buyers are out there buying F10s and what they have come from - Me... I'm trading in a 2006 VW Passat Highline 1.6 petrol. Delivery date for our car is expected to be Saturday - We had hoped to pick it up tomorrow like you but weather related travel delays have pushed it out. |

Biomedical engineer. I was the owner of a 2005 3.5SE Altima but gave it up because of some problems that it has developed. It is definitely a lot of car for someone like me but it is well worth it!!!!!

Even though my head office is in Ottawa, I live just north of Kingston and do most of my work in TO...so, what projects do I need to look at again?
