Custom exhaust / Dual 4" tips on 5 series / Muffler recommendations? (do they fit?)

I just sold this setup to another member with the intention of building another custom exhaust.

I was about to pull the trigger on these M5 mufflers -3.25" inlet, dual 4" exhaust tip. but thought it would be a good idea to see if anybody here has any feedback on this idea

Has anybody used these on their 550? IF so how did it fit and how did they sounds? Any feedback appreciated

It doesn't say that it they are compatible with the 550i anywhere but i don't see why any decent exhaust shop wouldn't be able to install them. Especially considering that many 550 owner run OEM M5 mufflers.

My main concern is that dual 4" tips may be too large for the Vorsteiner rear diffuser that i just installed. has anybody ran dual 4" tips on their 5 Series? Do they fit well? 4" tips don't fit well I need to spend more time searching again for a different setup that has dual 3.5" tips. Any recommendations? (different mufflers? Go with straight pipes?)

They fit. I have the m6 Megan racing mufflers cause these weren't out yet. I have 4" tips with the same diffuser as you

Pretty sure they'll fit. Just measure the opening and make sure it's at least 8.5" across.

Ordered the Burnt tip version last night. After they are installed ill post an update.

The exhaust showed up over the weekend. They look better then i expected

Had them installed today i gotta say Im pretty happy with them. I think they look and sound great. Unfortunately one side was mounted slightly further back so the tips are protruding slight more one that side. I'm going to have to go back to have them correct it.

Thanks for the heads up but running a catted car for 1 min in a 3 car garbage isn't going kill anybody. We were having a wind storm last night so i couldn't make the video with the garage open.

I don't really think there was any drone but Ive only driven the car home from the exhaust shop.
