Need help with a specific kind of exhaust please.

What's up guys. I am looking around for exhausts except I am specifically looking for something that will not make the car loud. I just want to bring out a little bit louder of a purr note something deeper but a lot of the f10 guys are just cutting off their mufflers and welding on straight pipes with tips, not a fan at all.

If anyone has a clue about what exhaust would just give me a little bit more of a deeper tone but keep it away from the loud side if appreciate the advice.

I own a 14 f10 535xi, and I will be putting in downpipes and jb4 stage 2. Just something to take into consideration cause sure the downpipes is going to increase sound quite a bit

Thanks for the advice in advance.

If you're doing downpipes, then leaving the stock mufflers will be ideal. I've done that in the past (long tubes, no cats, x-pipe, stock mufflers) and it was quiet as stock unless I floored it.

Go with SuperSprint. One of the best exhaust companies, known to be generally quiet, and they make every exhaust component you would need for your car.

I don't need a full exhaust, no point if I'm not trying to have the car stupid loud...

Does a m5 muffler have a different note?

I have the M5 mufflers on my 550xi and they give a great muscular tone without the drone ... Best upgrade to the f10 thus far .... I'm not far from you in the Sandy Hook, NJ area ... If you ever want to stop by and hear them ... Let me know.

Put in your downpipes.

Im sure you will be happy with that and stock exhaust. My car has a nice lil tone to it, and full throttle its much louder.. regular driving, You dont hear anything.. till you step on gas.

But im getting a 3inch exhaust soon so my car going to wake the world up soon.
