Are there any gains to be had with a muffler & resonator delete on a F10 550?

Noise...in the very least.
I have a 535i, and had my resonator removed. I didn't ditch the muffler...only upgraded to an aftermarket one.

But...whew...the sound comes out much sweeter!

just do x-pipe and then exhaust cutout on the driver side exhaust right before the muffler and you should be fine. its better sounding. no drone at all. make sure get a remote controlled cutout. when routing the power source just use your 12v inside the trunk.

Did you just replace the resonator with straight pipes?

I'm thinking of doing a muffler delete on my car right now for spring/summer. I have m5 mufflers with valves open but its not enough. I'm curious if I could take the resonator out when I go to get the mufflers out too.
