Comfort + mode does not exists 535d
I read the vehicle owner's manual and it seems that a comfort + setting for EDC has to exist. Do have this mode on your vehicle?
Moreover, I cannot configure sport mode, just eco pro mode. It does appear on settings menu even if I am in sport mode. What would I can configure in this mode? |

Don't worry.
Comfort mode is a disgrace for a Bimmer (feels like a Merc.). Who needs Comfort + anyway?

The damper control "Comfort" section in the manual has an asterisk in the section title, which means optional feature. EDC might be generally an option in your country, or you have the European M-Sport suspension which is mutually exclusive with EDC. Ask your BMW dealer for the exact optional equipment list which he can extract with your VIN.

@EdwinF10 I am living in Romania and sometimes I used comfort mode.
@SomeRandomer123 I bought the car in November 2011. @Gran Turismo The car has adaptive drive, with EDC included. |

Right, that should mean its an MY2012 which (with VDC option) gets Comfort Plus, Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus. Hmm...

I've recently found that BMW has removed/deleted/forgot certain features in their updated versions of software.
For example - my 2012 535ix GT no longer has the ability to select either chasis or steering when going to sport mode (it automatically does it for you now). I'm not sure if this is on purpose, or b/c the software techs just forgot to add it in OR they ran out of memory to store configs on as they modified other settings.... |

@Wardman I have the same problem, I cannot configure sport mode as the manual instructed.
@SomeRandomer123 Do you have comfort + in your car? Anyone has the same problem, missing comfort +? |

@Peiper, my 2011 F10 has the comfort, normal, sport and sport+.
I believe yours must be comfort+, comfort, sport and sport+. And yes, for romanian roads, mostly of them, is better with maximum comfort possible and only when the road conditions and traffic intensity permit, is a better experience to kick the pedal to the metal on sport+ |

Yeah, you're right. I'm spoiled. The local roads are very well maintained where I hang out mostly (NL + DE).

@peiper - I was told that the feature was removed from 2012 cars (mine being a GT) unless you get the ZSP.
I would have gotten that package, but would not put up with the 19" RFT issues that I was reading about. Had they offered that with 18" wheels in the US, different story. Still pissed I don't have it and I know it's just software setting. |

I don't think we have ZSP in Europe. Anyway I don't have it and that's it. |
