yeah you get free brake replacements while under warranty...I would wait until out of warranty before paying out of pocket for that enhancement. Knowing BMW, even painting the calipers will cause them to charge you if something goes wrong.

What did you use to clean and prime the calipers before painting?
Brake cleaner and a wire brush.

I've painted mine over 2 years ago and it's still holding up. It's really simple.

You place the stickers after the paint has dried and then you put a few layers of clear coat over it.

Sounds like it's too late now, but I kinda like the idea of bronze. Different... Would look good against the cashmere silver I think.

I've got Cashmere Silver as well and I'm abt to go with the Royal Blue Calipers.. Went to the dealership and all the new showroom Beamers had them.
