Question Replace shadowline with chrome?

I just bought a 2011 550i Sport. As you all probably know, that comes with shadowline trim around the windows instead of chrome. I guess I'm in the minority in that I would actually prefer chrome. Seems like most people want to make the change the other way around.

In any event, does anyone know where I can buy chrome replacements for the shadowline trim that goes around the windows? Also, are there any places around Atlanta that you know that does this work?

If anyone wants to trade their chrome for shadowline that would be ideal.

Any info on this topic would be helpful.

Thanks,
Mike

It's not easy. You have to remove the side mirrors.

I'm not looking to do the work myself. Just want to see where I can buy the parts for reasonable price. BMW said it would be $2500 - $3000 in parts alone. That is just insane.

Same, same. BMW quoted me $3000 cost price for the Shadowline parts. Labour on top of that. I said ... "No, no, no ... I want Shadowline, not freakin Gold"

I've been considering a wrap at $495 but would prefer the OEM if I can. I will trade my chrome for your shadowline?

That's kinda true. For a couple G more you could buy a nice watch. Or just save the money.
