Got a few pictures from my wheel guy this morning to approve before BC boxes and ships them today. Can't wait, very excited.

Ditching the runflats in favor of 255/35R20 and 285/30R20 Michelin AS3+

I'm curious to hear what you think about the tires?

I love ultra high performance summer tires I have on my car, but they of course wear really fast. I'm considering the same tire you got, so, interested what you think once you've had time to evaluate them further.

I've had the AS3's on my wifes E39 Touring before, actually just fitted the 2nd set on her car. They are great tires. The only way that car can even break traction (235/45R17) (528i/5MT) is in the rain snapping the steering. In the dry? hahah... you can get some good squeeling stamping it around a corner but they don't let go.

The AS3+ are just a little better of course, and I'm sure will be adequate for what is largely a highway cruiser.

I'm so very disappointed sitting here, without wheels. They were originally supposed to be here yesterday but they are being held is customs because the customs documentation is missing.

I doubt I'd be able to make the time during the week to get them put together with rubber, so I'll at very least have to wait until next weekend.

So close yet so far.
