Another M6 muffler mod

Just got the M6 mufflers put on my stock exhaust system. They definitely sound better than the stock mufflers. I'll post more pics when I get a chance.

Wait, are these off of the new M6 or the old V10 M6?

Completely missed that. It will be interesting to hear the video comparison between this setup and Lancaster's, as I think he did straight pipes to each muffler (no H / X pipe).

I don't think the sound will be that different. I had this setup a year ago with the OEM mid section and from my current
straight pipe setup I can't tell the difference. I kept the piping the same dimension as stock with 2 1/4 inch piping.

Here's a cold start sound clip today. This was taken with my HTC evo so the sound isn't 100%

Yet another contestant in my pool. M6 vs Meistershaft GTC (ev) vs Vorsteiner. Only problem is mine is a V8 so its not a 1-to-1 sound profile.

Updated with cold start sound clip. I think it sounds the same as Lacster's.

Im getting mine done next week. Can't wait. Seems like best compromise between stock and aftermarket (no drone). Just trying to figure out if I go full straight pipe or just get the rears mated

I jumped on the 6 series forum and just happened to find a guy that was selling them locally.

Noob question: How much custom fabrication is involved?

Anyone have any input on whether this would work on a 2011 528i, just using the driver's side muffler? I have attached an image of the OEM muffler from realoem
