iPhone 5s and NEW snap in media adapter /"plug In" connected idrive?

the " plug In " i drive option for new my new adapter says no compatible hardware? all other features seem to work when phone is snapped into cradle, just as they did for the prior (pre iPhone 5) media updater.

anyone had this issue and know how to cure it?

The Plugin function was discontinued by BMW due to Apple removing analog Video Out signal beginning with the iPhone5/5s production. As a result, BMW no longer includes FBAS video lines from the Baseplate to the Head Unit.
