I used Bendix EURO+ pads and I think the person who designed them forgot that the spring clip has to fit between the caliper and carrier bits of metal, the Bendix pad's end tabs that sit in the caliper grooves leaves about a 0.5 to 1mm gap between the caliper and carrier, this causes the main issue for me getting the clip ends in. They are Ate brake calipers so I wonder if Ate pads have shorter tabs .... either way I've finished the job now, PHEW!
