Diffuser

Newbie with question about a 2013 535I M Package rear diffuser. Got hit in the rear and car coming out of body shop looks different. What color was the factory rear diffuser on the car. I was pretty sure that it was a Satin Black and looked close in color to the two black exhaust pipes. The body shop says it was not black but sort of a grayish color. Any opinions would be helpful
Thanks

Garage List
I read before that the diffuser color is called "Shadow Gray". I cannot confirm nor deny this.

Actually its called dark shadow, but you can get it from getbmwparts.com, which cost less than $100. It will come pre-painted in the darkish grey as you would get it if you ordered the msport model from the BMW. I know the part# 51127904994 is for 528 but not sure about the part # for your 535. Give them a call and they should be able to help.

My car was hit from the rear couple months ago rear defuser was damaged and it wasn't all black it was grayish. I wrapped my roof in black so I asked body shop to paint defuser in black.
When car was I notice it was black and paint was perfect I asked how did they get it to paint that good. They told me they didn't paint they ordered black from BMW its original paint,
Therefore I think they ordered wrong defuser for your car.
