Wheels..Wheels.. Wheels overload..
Hello..
I've been in the market for some 20 or 21" wheels for my 535i Alpine White M Sport... I've searched the forums.. and I'm trying to narrow down my search of wheel brands.. so far I found: MORR wheels Vossen wheels Iforged wheels DPE Wheels VMR wheels etc..etc.. My budget is around the $3K range. Realistically, what can I get with that budget? Is my only option used set of wheels? Thanks for the advice and for the time and patience! Thanks, Mark ps. i love the pics in this forum ROOL: |

Hey there...
I've been doing the same for my yet to be ordered F10 lol and its not easy. Its much harder trying to find a wheel that suits the F10 body compared to the 3 series. You can't get something that is too tuner looking or it cheapens the car. With a 3K budget (wheels alone) there isn't many options. Used would be your best bet. Stay away from VMR (cheap replica wheel companies in general) if you plan on going bigger than 19"s. You might save money in the beginning but i assure you they will bend or crack if the roads where you live isn't pristine. Buy the strongest wheel you can afford without making the car look ghetto is my recommendation. Lots of companies don't disclose openly how their wheels are made and wrap themselves around fancy advertisements so just do your research and ask the question. How are your wheels made? (Weakest to Strongest) Gravity Cast --> Low Pressure Cast (LPC) --> Form Flow --> Forged good link that explains all this info http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/....jsp?techid=90 Alan

This is an awesome set that's close to your budget. Remember, 21" tires = rare = really thin = easy to get bent wheels = expensive. 20s will have a cheaper Cost of Ownership, even over 19".
http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=653595 If you want new Rotary Forged, look into ForgeStar CF14 or CF10. If you want new Forged, I think only BC Forged will fall into your $3k budget range. New Morr will run you about $6k. Happy hunting! |

excellent advice Alan l.
op, bc forged will be right around or slightly over ur budget, plus they're via jwl certified. i suggest u save more cash 2 get the higher quality wheel, but if u wanna stick 2 ur budget, then bc or used will be ur best bet.

Here's more information on BC Forged. I don't have personal experience with it, but I'm loving the fast build time & price.
