Has anyone made coilovers compatible with xDrive F10s yet??

As far as I understand they're available but if you have adaptive drive then it is disabled after the install. There isn't a system out yet that replicates the active shocks.

I will update you at the earliest possible time when I hear back from my shop guy.
KW is still thinking (guessing) production of V3 in the late spring 2012 but that's just a pure guess. If testing wraps up in March 2012, then you are probably looking at late summer for production to start. The testing has been going on since spring 2011 and the orig. planned production was Nov 2011 and product availability to N.A market was for March 2012. Obviously, it's not going to happen. |

I can't seem to understand the diff between x drive and non. Is it just the extra weight in the front or something with the suspension itself?

I don't think KW will make coilovers for xDrive models. Unfortunately... :-(

These are different forces changing all the time with driving torque going back and forth between front and rear wheels. So it is a more complicated suspension set up. Apparently neither KW nor any other company is willing to mess with it or not financially viable.

I spoke to many vendors in North America & Europe for the last 2 years (on & off), who in turn contacted directly with KW Germany this spring and confirmed there is not enough demand to mass produce the coilovers. KW were testing the coilovers in early 2011 and even have plan for production in spring of 2012 and they suddenly abandon the whole plan altogether.

I visited in Essen Germany the Motorshow last week. http://www.essen-motorshow.de/
KW was one of the exhibitors. I asked them for coilovers for xDrive models. They said they are still testing, because there was a problem with front springs, something with cabling. They expect introduction on the market april/may 2013.

KW now have a different story for the coils. I will believe when I see it. If it does happen, it would have taken them 3+ years (prob. closer to 4 yrs) to come to market.

It's even available on F01 xDrive models, but not of F10/F11.
I've now the ACS lowering, and i'm satisfied with that.

So no one will make acoil over for the F10 with xDrive? The suspension of the F06 and F10 are cross compatible, so I was hoping to see someone with an F10 xDrive with KW. =(
The story on the demand for xDrive is BS. I can't even find a RWD BMW at my dealership anymore. =( |

Sucks for u XI drivers! cause it Seems there's enough interest for coilovers but not enough to push forward? Kinda glad I went with just a non XI model.
