Upsolute tuning?

Anybody every get their 5 tuned by these guys? http://www.upsolute.com/en/ Seems reputable, but I'm not sure. I have a U.S. 535d that seems impossible to find a remap for and these guys have a U.S. location within driving distance to me. Thoughts? :

Go try it out since its driving distance + you have warranty with them.
Have you tried a piggyback tune yet?
There's a few options for the 535d plenty of F15 35d folks have it.

I was thinking of doing so. I like the remap idea vs piggy back. However if all doesn't work out I'm going to go the race chip route. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

There are pro and con for either one of them.
Here are few of them:

Piggyback Pro:
- Quick install, no downtime or even go to a shop
- Resaleable when you are done with the car

Piggyback Con:
- It is generic pre-sets

Remap ECU Pro:
- Fine tuned to your engine and environment

Remap ECU Con:
- Expensive
- Require some down time for the best custom tuning
- Depreciate much faster as a buyer of your tuned car will downplay it and tell you to remove it as he is buying the car, not the tune.
- Some buyer don't like to buy a car that known has been moded. We who loves modding car prefer to start from scratch or personalized the car.
- Most of the time it is not transfer-able. They will tell you it is different car even though you just replaced the F10 535 N55 motor to a F06 640 N55 motor.

Thanks for the info. It will help me make the best decision.

Julesandtrish also see what's their warranty like? money back within 2-3 weeks ? etc

If leasing piggyback is better, if owning ECU has a lead because depending on the flash you get, it can be fine tuned to your vehicle and mods if you have any also being smoother. But all in all they're Pros/Cons with everything in life.

For ex. your Stock Rating: 255hp - 413lb/ft

BR-Performance (Belgium)
Stage1: 310hp - 479 ft/lb (650Nm)
Stage2: 330hp - 501 ft/lb (680 Nm)
http://www.br-performance.be/en-be/c...010/3861-530d/

Enzo-Peformance (NYC) local to me and recommended by BR-P
EnzoTuned™: 295hp - 493lb/ft
https://enzoperformance.com/product/...u-calibration/

Upsolute
Tuned: 295hp - 443 ft/lb

Are tunes in Europe exceptionally inexpensive or does Enzo charge a lot for their tunes?

Not sure we would have to ask each tuner what does their price includes or does not.

-BR-P € 820= $880 for stage1 and their stage2 price is not listed
(not including shipping overseas)
-Enzo $1,045 (I'm sure this one includes before and after dyno "if present", among a few other things listed on his site link)
-Upsolute says € 399= $428 (Too good to be true ? ) OP would have to find out how much the US Dealer for Upsolute will charge him and what will he get or what he won't get with the price etc.

Actually called Upsolute today and was quoted $400 USD for my car tune. Said I would have to check back with them in a few months as they are switching out their tuning equipment to be able to do more cars including mine. They are about 15 miles from me.

Not bad, will they be able to do there or they would have to ship it overseas?
Few months (would take this time to do research on them)
Email BR-P to see who they recommend for your state/area as well.
They are the ones responsible for ECU Flash

Upsolute can do my tune on site here in NC. I will/have been researching so far and still can't make up my mind. From a cost per HP/TQ, the base race chip module is the way to go. Even if it is the lowest power increase. Decisions.....decisions....ugh.

Not yet. They told me to check back in June but I have yet to. They said they were getting a new module in June to be able to install tunes for cars like mine. I'm happy right now with my race chip, but we will see what the future brings.

Got some videos before and after racechip acceleration?
