Is this Alpina D5 biturbo worth it?
£40,000 for a three year old D5 Touring dark blue / oyster nappa leather with HUD, comfort seats, sunroof all options with 30k miles, supplied and serviced by Sytner Nottingham.
An equivalent age high spec 535d would be £30k or less - which car would depreciate faster, the 535d or the Alpina??

http://www.thealpinaregister.com/D5/Bi-Turbo/estate/76 Definetely over priced as per usual with Sytners, I'd be looking to pay around 37-38000 sounds like a good spec, have you tried the Alpina register? I think the previous owner posts up on there. From experience depreciation is slower on an Alpina due to the low build numbers, but they can slightly harder to sell as most dealerships don't understand the difference between an Alpina and a BMW. It's not that one but similar. Mine is Orient Blue so perhaps a bit darker. Most dealerships don't understand the difference and selling it privately will take a little longer to find the right person but will get more money eventually.
